2Togi-decor

Headed over for dinner at the restaurant. To my surprise, it didn’t have really fanciful interior designs like other Korean restaurants, just a simply and humble store that emphasized on serving good and authentic food to its customers.

3Togi-Customer-Crowded

The restaurant had their seats quickly filled once the doors opened, and soon, we were surrounded in a vibrant atmosphere full of chit-chatting and laughter.

4Togi-Menu

Here’s the menu for Togi 71 – and if you’ve noticed closely, they actually have the symbol of Korea in the name of their restaurant! Togi 71 serves a wide range of authentic Korean meals – from rice, noodles, soup and stew, to grilled/stir-fried BBQ, pancake and beverages.

5Togi-Greentea

Korean Iced Tea that’s chargeable at $1.

6Togi-Variety of side dishes

Side dishes that came to us quickly, with a platter of fresh vegetables, sauces (inclusive of a special chilli paste with garlic) and hot soups that are slightly sweet and salty.

7Togi-ikanbillis side dish

Their sides included two saucers of vegetables, ikan billis, mashed potato salad and potato, along with the delectable kimchi.

8Togi-sidedish

You don’t have to wait for the rice to be served – the side dishes are yummy just by itself!

9Togi-Bibibap

Bibimbap $11

Chicken/pork/beef over steamed rice in a hot stone bowl, with an assortment of vegetables, mushroom, egg and meat. Recommended by the chef!

10Togi-Waitress good service

Even though we went for dinner during the peak hours, the staff was still very attentive and actually took the time to mix the bibimbap right in front of you for an interesting customer experience.

11Togi-Vegetable-Wrap

Now, you’re ready to wrap the mixed Korean rice into the crisp vegetables and consume it while it’s hot!

13Togi-KoreanPancake

Kimchi Jeon $6/12 (small/large)

Kimchi seafood pancake, decorated with sliced cucumbers and tomatoes. It’s tasty, but slightly oily, so remember to drink the Korean iced tea to ‘neutralize’ the oily feeling !

Togi 71

Samgyupsal $17.5

BBQ Pork Belly with big, generous chunks of fried onions, lettuce and crunchy strips of mushrooms blended in with the pork belly slices.  You just got to try this because they are the most delicious and tender in my own opinion! It’s especially delicious when consumed together with the onions and crunchy mushrooms.

16-BBQ Pork wrap with lettuce

Not forgetting wrapping it with lettuce again and dipped in the special chilli paste!

18Togi-Closing Time

We realized its already near closing time! Time to go home!
